On October 1st, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana organized an official welcome for the newly enrolled students of the Multimedia study program. Before the official reception, the new students were able to pick up their student ID cards in the faculty’s lobby. The reception began with an introductory speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, followed by presentations of the study program, academic regulations, the tutoring system, and the status of students with special needs. The freshmen also received useful advice from student representatives.

In the academic year 2024/2025, 48 students have enrolled in the Multimedia study program, continuing the high enrollment levels from the previous year.

After the formal presentation, the students had the opportunity to participate in the traditional event “Pozdrav bruckam in brucem” (Welcome Freshmen) at the Congress Square in Ljubljana.

The following day, they were already scheduled to attend lectures and soon laboratory sessions held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics. We wish them plenty of success in fulfilling their academic obligations this year as well!
